Well, I don't really want to start the game before it's fully occupied. Don't want any of the states to become prey for the players. Though, if that deems itself impossible I'll start posting as soon as my exam is written and delivered the 27th.

I'm sorry, but I haven't completed the game today. We're having really nice weather up in Northern Norway now adays... ;$ I have, however, thought about a couple of rules, and I think I'm ready to start it tomorrow, if I don't get drunk too soon

Alright, guys! I've got this written down to now? Anyone see any flaws or anything unclear? In that case I would like you to tell me so that I can fix it ;)
  • Millitary:
    Regiments: Defensive, offensive and siegeforces
    Regiments cost: 100$ to recruit, 20$ per round
    Regiments take one round to recruit.

    Siege time:
    Siegeforces = 1 round
    Offenive = 3 rounds
    Defensive = 10 rounds

    Defensive:
    1 loss = 2 killed against defensive and siegeforces in homeregions. 1 loss = 1 kill against offensive regiments in homeregions

    Offensive:
    1 loss = 2 killed against offensive and siegeforces in enemy regions. 1 loss = 1 kill against defensive regiments in enemy regions.

    Siegeforces:
    1 loss = 0 killed in any regions. In Battle, the siege troops die last.

    Regiments can move 3 regions per round. If enemy regiments meet you on the way, there will be a battle.

    Leader:
    If your regiments have a leader you can scout 3 more regions to better know where your enemies are located. 300$ to recruit, 50$ per round.

    War:
    Declear war on an enemy nation. Regiments can move one more region and kill one more hostile regiment if the country has a casus belli against their enemy. Peace is negotiated with the enemy. If there is only one region left and the attacker´s siege is over, the attacker can force annextion, eliminating the player.

    Economy:
    Income: Increase by x-amount every round
    Base income = 700$

    Everytime a country receives a new region, the income will increase with 100$. Can only have one bonus from each country.

    Politics:
    Governments:
    Republic:
    President
    Regular income but with no resistance forces excluding nationalists

    Dictatorship:
    Supreme Commander
    Regular income * number of regions, but the resistance forces are immense

    Absoloute Monarchy:
    King/Queen
    +20% to income

    Constitutional Monarchy:
    King/Queen
    +5% to income, but with increased chance of resistance forces

    Empire:
    Emperor
    +2% to income, and only needs 2 rounds to siege with offensive and 5 rounds with defensive regiments. Nationalism increased by 5.

    Government changes will be available at any time, if you can complete the course of desicions. The empire has some requierments.

    Empire requiers that the player controls 30 regions + controls one or more region of a foreign culture.

    Revolts:
    Nationalism:
    In regions with different cultural background than your state culture there is a 5% chance of revolt every round. Revolt size between 2k-10k troops

    Religious:
    In regions with different religion than your state religion there is a 10% chance of revolt every round. Revolt size between 2k-8K troops

    Regions can be converted for a price of 50$ per round. Duration = 4 rounds.

Does this mean that it takes 4 rounds to convert a region?

What about some more politics, instead of just selecting the government, we could do something like:

Liberal, radical, conservative, facist, nazist, socialist, communist, and then they could give some kind of bonuses?
